Hastelloy C4 is a nickel-based alloy with excellent corrosion resistance, which is often used in high temperature and high corrosion environment such as chemistry, petroleum, metallurgy and energy. This alloy was developed by Haynes International, hence the name "Hastelloy". Hastelloy C4 is a highly corrosion-resistant alloy in the Hastelloy family. Its excellent oxidation resistance, stress corrosion resistance and corrosion resistance in acidic environments make it the material of choice for many engineering applications under harsh conditions.
